TERMINOX™

TerminoxThe Ward Clean Air Products that Pays for Itself! TermiNOx™converts any openloop LPG or CNG fueled off-road engine into a state of the art, digitally programmable, closedloop, 3-way controlled engine that simultaneously reduces CO, HC, and NOx emissions by an impressive and verified 85-90+%*. In addition, the fuel efficiency of the vehicle typically improves by as much as 20% - combine these savings and reduced building ventilation costs and the TermiNOx™ system can provide you a full return on investment in as little as one year. TermiNOx™ upgrades uncontrolled spark ignited engines used in industrial applications with state-of-the-art, electronic closed-loop fuel control and 3-way catalytic emissions control to reduce:

  • Smog-causing (HC+NOx) emissions by >90%

  • Toxic Carbon Monoxide (CO) emissions by >85%

  • Fuel Consumption by 10-20%

  • Verified as the only LSI technology (large displacement engine spark ignited)

2-WAY PURRIFMUFFLER™

AZ-Purimuffler_2WCAP also offers 2-Way Purimufflers for LPG,CNG and Gasoline industrial engines. The WCAP 2-Way Purimuffler features a built-in venturi which introduces additional air into the catalytic muffler to insure high conversion of deadly carbon monoxide (CO) and reduction of hydrocarbon (HC) odors over the catalyst while preventing excessive exhaust temperatures.

A Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is a device designed to remove diesel particulate matter (DPM) or soot, from the exhaust of diesel engines. Diesel particulate filters can remove roughly 85% of the soot found in diesel emissions and can at times, depending on the filter and other equipment it is paired with can attain 100% soot removal efficiencies. Diesel-powered vehicles which are equipped with a DPF emit no visible emissions from the exhaust pipe and far less harmful not only to the environment, but to the general health of those in the vicinity of the running vehicle.

What Is Diesel Exhaust?

smoke_100Diesel exhaust contains a mixture of thousands of different chemical substances. Many of the components of diesel exhaust, such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, sulphur dioxides, hydrocarbon gases and diesel particulate matter (soot), arsenic and benzene, can cause health problems. Diesel exhaust contains 20-100 times more harmful particles than gasoline exhaust.

Health Effects of Diesel Exhaust

Due to expanding use of diesel equipment, more and more workers are exposed to diesel exhaust. More than one million workers are exposed to diesel exhaust and face the risk of adverse health effects, ranging from headaches and nausea to cancer and respiratory disease. Such workers include mine workers, bridge and tunnel workers, railroad workers, loading dock workers, truck drivers, material handling machine operators, farm workers, longshoring employees, and auto, truck and bus maintenance garage workers.
